N.H. House Votes to Ban Abortion After 20 Weeks

For the fifth time in two weeks, the House passed a bill intended to restrict abortions in New Hampshire, voting to prohibit abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Abortion providers would face felony charges punishable by up to 15 years in prison for violating the proposed law, although the mother would not be prosecuted.
