Tennessee Judge Halts Law Allowing Inspection of Clinics

In Tennessee, a federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction barring district attorneys from enforcing a pro-life law requiring abortion facilities to meet new safety standards. U.S. District Judge Kevin Sharp stopped district attorneys in Davidson and Sullivan counties from requiring facilities that perform more than 50 abortions annually to meet the standards of ambulatory surgical centers.
